Road Closures Affecting Route to TVH

Due to the re-surfacing and other improvements to North Howard Avenue, the main entrance to Tampa Veterinary Hospital on Howard Avenue is not accessible to vehicle traffic. The only way to get to TVH at this time is via North A Street. This project is expected to continue through early August. To best navigate to your pet’s appointment, please allow for extra travel time and use the following directions:

From the EAST: Take Kennedy Boulevard to N. Albany Ave. Turn right on N. Albany to North A St. Turn left on North A St. Tampa Veterinary Hospital will be on your left in 2 blocks.

From the WEST: Take Kennedy Boulevard past Howard Avenue and take your second left onto N. Albany Ave. (Traffic is usually backed up westbound, blocking a left turn onto N. Westland Ave). Proceed to North A St. and turn left. Tampa Veterinary Hospital will be on your left in 2 blocks.

From South Howard: Turn right onto Kennedy Blvd. from Howard Avenue. Take your second left onto N. Albany Ave. (Traffic is usually backed up westbound, blocking a left turn onto N. Westland Ave). Proceed to North A St. and turn left. Tampa Veterinary Hospital will be on your left in 2 blocks.

From the NORTH using Armenia Avenue: From the left lane of Armenia Ave. take a left immediately past the Glazer JCC onto Gray Street. Proceed with caution across Howard Avenue. Take your first right onto N. Westland Ave. Proceed to North A St and turn right. Tampa Vet will be immediately on your left. Cross-traffic across Howard Avenue at North A, North B and Fig is blocked. Gray Street is the first available cross-street allowing the crossing of Howard Avenue at this time.
